The Ceremony ~ Our Wedding

Our ceremony was held in the gardens of the location for our reception. 

The ceremony was sweet, intimate and perfect for us.

We had  unpredictable weather throughout the entire wedding day but we were blessed to have the rain cease for our entire ceremony. 

Our Vows

I don't think you can prepare for the feelings you experience on your wedding day. I was nervous, excited, grateful, beyond happy and felt completely blessed to have my family and friends around me while I married my best friend and love of my life (sappy I know... but completely true).

Girls' Preparation ~ Our Wedding

I always expected my getting ready process to be rushed and disorganised but everything went so smoothly and the entire morning was relaxed and so much fun!

I woke up, had a latte and then we all sat around the table and chatted while we our hair was done, our makeup applied and while I proactively tried not to be crazy nervous. It didn't hit me until about half an hour before we left that I was actually going to be married in only a few short hours!

We chose to have very simple and natural makeup. I was really happy with how it turned out.

I had so many trinkets on the day, the ones most special to me were the garter and hankie from my mum and the necklace which was a wedding gift from the boy

Champagne was a MUST before you are getting ready! It helped to calm my pre-wedding nerves

Boys' Preparation ~ Our Wedding

Josh got ready for the wedding at our home. From what I can gather, everything was very relaxed and plenty of beer was consumed.

Josh ordered cufflinks, beer coolers and socks as wedding gifts for all the men involved.

Josh has been fixing up an old truck, so of course he wanted to get some pictures with it. They turned out pretty cool!

Josh decided on a sleek black titanium band and I have a simple white gold band that matches my engagement ring.
